Road test: keep left and under 50. Stop on red. If people are waiting at a zebra crossing, stop before it and let them cross. Stop fully at STOP lines, signal right (L) and only go when nothing is coming. Roundabouts: go round clockwise and give way to the right. To 9 or 12, use the left lane and the outer lane round; to 3, use the right lane and the inner lane. Signal left (A) for 9 on the way in, right (L) for 3, nothing for 12, and left just before your exit. Wrong lane, wrong exit or going the wrong way round is an instant fail. Hitting a car or a person ends the test.
Steering:
Hold Q or W to turn the wheel left, O or P to turn it right. Let go and the wheel stays where it is, so turn it back to go straight.
Hold Space for gas, let go to slow down. Press G to change between D (forwards) and R (reverse) when stopped.
Don't touch the lines or hit cones: 6 faults and you fail! Too easy? Try Clumsy steering.
Your hands steer. QW slide the left hand up and down the wheel, OP the right hand. A hand that isn't moving holds the wheel still.
To turn, move both hands the same way: Q+P turns right, W+O turns left. When a hand can't reach further it slips off. Let go of both keys, slide one hand back, then turn again.
Hold Space for gas, let go to slow down. Press G to change between D (forwards) and R (reverse) when stopped. Don't touch the lines or hit cones: 6 faults and you fail!
